When at a bar, a party, or even at home, you can use Can I Drive Yet to input some simple facts about yourself and what you’ve had to drink. Then, using information available from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), it will calculate your blood alcohol content (BAC) to help you decide, more accurately, if it is safe to drive.

Not only is it smart to use Can I Drive Yet, it remembers when you and your friends started drinking, what youve had to drink, and some basic stats about you. The app doesnt need to be running at all times, and, while you or a friend wait for the bartender to bring a drink, you can enter it quickly and easily.

In order to give you accurate information, Can I Drive Yet needs to know several details about you and your drinks. However, weve done our best to make it as smooth as silk to enter this data. For example, you only need to enter your weight, gender, and other simple information the first time you setup a profile.

Though there is no sure-fire way to tell if youre below the legal limit, it is arguably better to calculate your BAC than to ask a friend to watch how much you stumble.

Very useful tool. Great as secondary referance or as a confirmatory. Remember of course this application should not be deciding whether you should be driving. Again, awesome app!

I was recently asked to blow at a road block and blew the exact reading as this software predicted. However it was very nerve racking and I recommend not having anywhere near the limit. Given the consequences of blowing over, It is probably better to not need the software.

Really cool app, well worth price. Just wish there was a reset button at the "drinks consumed" screen.

Good warning indicator. Love the alert when you should have sobered up.

I find the app very useful! I even play around with it when Im not drinking! The only recommendation I have is add 6 oz and 8 oz for beer. Sometimes I split a bottle or pint with someone after several drinks. Itll help make the BAC calculation a bit more accurate.

Great app! Its a good reminder to make good choices when ur drinking and helps u choose not to drive when u know Uve had too much

Some bad moments

this app is buggy and useless. it doesnt work if you start drinking at 11:55 pm and continue drinking past midnight. it will say your BAC is 0.

The "+" button doesnt work properly, it only works when you log drinks the first time. If for example, you log one drink initially and exit the program, once you return to the app, and then try to use the "+" button to add another drink of the same type, it might appear to work initially. However, if you then quit and reload the app, you will see it did not save the drinks you added, it will show you the exact number of drinks you initially logged for that particular entry. The only workaround seems to be logging each drink individually. Edit: Also, I wish the app would stop bugging me to write a review because I ALREADY DID. Stop spamming me.

It gives me updates saying I should be at a certain level and then when I check into the app the level in the app is almost always twice as high as the update

Not only that, it wont let me delete the app or download others. Its froze my app downloading! Is this a fake app, bug?!? Dislike!!!! Calling apple.

The app itself is cool, but its ridiculous that the "please rate me" window keeps popping up. QUIT BUGGING ME!

This app still has bugs in basic math. I received notification of .04% and then .08% in reverse order (without adding any drinks). I would not trust this app until the developer checks the math and logic.
